Capricorn Themes I'm Leaning into this Season

I’m not an astrologer, but when Capricorn season hits, I just FEEL different. As a Capricorn myself, I always get excited for this time of year that aligns so well with the return of the light and of course, my birthday hehe.

When I was younger, my mom would talk about the zodiac and reference her big blue book all the time. She would read me my horoscope, tell me about all my quirks as a Capricorn and how I could work with the energy. So fun and so on point!

So when I think about the themes of Capricorn season and what it represents for me and my brand, I knew I had to share because you can work with this energy too!

  1. Capricorn is the slow and steady goat. We know where we’re going and we’re not in a rush to get there (I’m personally still working on the rushing part!) This energy is about sustainable success, not overnight change.

Here are some questions to help you reflect and prepare for success:

    1. What is your long term vision?

    2. What are you building that will last?

    3. What foundations need strengthening?

    4. What’s worth committing to even when motivation fades?

  2. Discipline is about devotion, not punishment. Capricorns get a bad reputation for being rigid (guilty!) but devoting to what matters keeps us going. These 3 pillars will anchor me this year so that anytime I stray from my vision and mission, I’m reminded to ground back into them.

    1. Rituals over routines- Not just what I’m doing, but how I’m living. My morning practice, my self-care habits and slowing down to speed up.

    2. Commitment over motivation- When I’m tired, I rest and I don’t shame myself for it. Even when motivation dips, I am committed to making an impact by teaching and sharing.

    3. Showing up even when no one is watching. I still write, create and do this important work no matter how the external world responds.

  3. Capricorn is the CEO of the zodiac and the evolved version of this is inner authority- trusting oneself over seeking external validation. Here are some reminders to step into your own magic:

    1. Reclaiming inner authority after years of being told who to be.

    2. Leading from authenticity instead of perfection.

    3. Being seen as you are, not as who you think you should be.

  4. Slow growth and patience. (This might be the hardest one, but most necessary!) It will be the greatest life lesson in trusting the process and knowing that everything is working out even though we don’t have the exact roadmap. Capricorn season is winter energy so the roots are growing beneath the surface. And confidence builds through repetition, not pressure.

    1. Trust the process

    2. Play the long game

    3. Let growth be incremental

  5. Legacy and meaning. Your life is not a hobby or a side hustle. What do you want to remembered for long after your life on earth? Here are some questions to think about:

    1. What impact do you want to leave?

    2. What are you modeling for others (and your child)?

    3. What does success actually mean to you?

So even if you’re not into astrology, these themes can help you ground into what this means for you, your life and your business. And if you’re new around here, here are some ways they show up in my offerings as a Yoga Teacher and Embodiment Coach:

It could be fun to explore your own astrology during this season and see how the energy impacts you personally. You can even create your own little manifesto based on the themes of your own sign.

Have fun with it and be open to how it can expand you in a very personal way.

Enjoy!
